Welcome September and hello lovelies!
It’s beginning my favorite time of year, meaning sweaters, boots, pumpkin everything, autumn leaves, aaaand this year… a 5k! That’s right, only 3 1/2 weeks until my very first 5K. Time to get back to the routine.
The BF visit is over (major sad face) so that means I’m back to blogging (I’m sure you’ve all missed me dearly, all 3 of you!) and hopefully getting back on track with my healthy life. I definitely was not living my usual routine while he was in town! It’s been a while since I’ve seen the gym and I’ve been indulging all the time since it was “vacation” (I have to admit, sugary caloric treats are still absolutely delicious and tortilla chips and salsa will forever be my weakness and I ate months worth in these 10 days). The next week, I’m thinking of doing a bit of a sugar/alcohol/refined foods detox to get back on track and a clean start for the new semester.
